Duckie 2015 #8

Still alive. Perceptively not cool, because it's blazing hot, but my body thought it was cool enough to get pneumonia.
And as you can see, trying to draw. I'm gonna warn you ahead, this is gonna be kind of a boring read.

Today's my last day of my summer vacation. Looking back, this has been the most boring summer of my life. I haven't really gone anywhere; was at my mom's summer cottage for a few days, that's about it. Everyone else have been out and about though, so it's been difficult to find something to do, other than sit around at home. Doesn't help that my laptop has gotten too slow to play games.
I'm a little nervous about starting school tomorrow. Dunno why though, my class is great, and I've kinda missed having something to do. This is the last semester we're all together though; in October, we start our specialisation course, and come December we start our next internship. I'm super dreading that.

Familywise, August has been acceptable. My dad's girlfriend is having some troubles with the father of her son, but otherwise everything's pretty mellow. Both my parents and my brother have their birthdays this month, so that has been celebrated. Dad held a dinnerparty, mom just invited me and my bro out for dinner, and my bro held a small get-together at my mom's. There has been no word from my uncle and cousin so far, but I think they're knee-deep in their own shit right now. 
I think it's pretty nice that it has been kind of solidified that my grandpa's sister is part of the family. We didn't really start seeing her and her partner until after my grandpa died, but it's like she's become this really sweet and grumpy bonus-grandma to us. I think she loves it too, since she doesn't have any children of her own.

I can also say that my birds are healthy. No vets for them c:
It turns out that it's just because one of my birds is skinnier than the other, making his chestbone easier to feel. He's still the same old loving goof as he ever was.

Aaaand as for love. We're together now. Again.
However, making it official wasn't about the title. It's not an end-goal. It's a declaration to eachother that we're worth working on. We're not done working on our shit at all, but hopefully in the future we'll work it out.

- Shitty fuckass painting omg 
- Find a gym. Sign up. Be persistent enough to keep going there.
- Reorganise my box systems
- Pine for colder weather
- Fucking draw some more
